Extracurricular activities

  All children want to have fun! Including children with disabilities in extracurricular and nonacademic activities has been at the heart of special education since the beginning. Children with disabilities have the right to an equal opportunity to participate in public school-sponsored activities. There are many potential benefits to this participation including simply the opportunity to have a good time!
