Parents of children with disabilities often need to advocate for services for their children. Advocacy is simply speaking up to make things better for yourself and others.
               What effective advocacy tips could you share with other parents?

  1. Preparing for an IEP meeting ahead of time helps to give me confidence at the meeting and stay focused on what I want to discuss.Listening with an open mind and then asking for data to support district proposals so we are all making data-based decisions.
